It's time to go, explore something new. We'll head outside, the dog can come, too. Let's toss a ball or chase a bunny. It's 12AM and everything's funny!
C: I'm creepin' while you're sleepin'! I'm creepin' while you're asleep!
V2: All this fun's been really rad, but I need to check in on mom and dad. I'll walk right in without a peep. Sp, don't get scared as I watch you sleep. But I was way too loud for the middle of the night, and you woke up in quite a freight. Panicked and scared in a state of confusion, you looked at me and said "kid, what have you been doing?!"

V1: Middle of the night, the baby's screaming. It's time for that midnight feeding. Stumbling down the hall to prepare that priceless bottle. And I have to tell myself...
C: Don't drop the milk!
V2: Trying to make food so we can eat. Kids running circles around our feet. Milk in hand trying not to fall. If I go down, the cost is not small! And I have to remind myself...
B: I think back on a time when I pumped all day just to have it left out on the counter to spoil. Or when daddy spent his hard-earned cash on formula only to knock the whole thing on the floor. Your parents are just trying to feed you and keep you happy and healthy. So parents, if you want to keep that baby fed, if you don't want to waste your time or your money, then all I'v got to say is...

V1: I've been real good today, I haven't caused a scene, I haven't broken anything, I haven't been too mean. I've been pretty calm today, I've been a quiet child, I haven't caused you any grief or done anything wild. But unbeknownst to you, I have a grander scheme! Although I've acted good today it is not what it seems!
V2: I slowly earned your confidence, you let your guard down, and when you looked away I started sneaking all around. I opened up the cupboards, I'm eating all the food, the chips the snacks the veggie straws, I'm such a sneaky dude! But when you get suspicious, I know just what to do, I toss the treats and close the door, and run away from you!
V3: I sneak into the bathroom and quickly look around. I see the toilet paper and unroll it on the ground. I'm splashing in the water without thinking where it's from. Never mind the consequences when you're having fun! But my glee drew your attention, I hear footsteps on the floor. I abandon all the mess I've made and head straight out the door!
V4: I head into your bedroom, start opening your drawers, I pull out all your clothes and throw them right onto the floor. Then go into your closet, start taking out your shoes, they think I'm such an angel kid I'm really just bad news! But I'm not paying attention and you know about my plot. The parents just walked in on me, oh no I just got caught!

It's been a long day and I'm so tired and momma's tired, too. And, we just want to take a nap, but you just want to run around and yell and scream and have fun. And that's okay because kids should have fun and they should run around and scream. But, it's been a long day and I'm tired and I want to take a nap and momma wants to take a nap, too. But, you won't let us... you won't let us! And, we just want to take one nap, but you want to run around and scream and have fun. And, that's okay, but I'm so tired!
